The PharmD program at the University of Michigan uses the Pharmacy College Application Service (PharmCAS), a centralized application service for applicants applying to colleges and schools of pharmacy.
The University of Michigan participates in the Early Decision program with PharmCAS.
Materials to be submitted directly to PharmCAS include all official transcripts and two letters of recommendation. For the Fall 2021 application, we are no longer requiring the PCAT. However, there could be certain circumstances in which you may want to take it, and you can learn more about that in our Application Overview.
Receipt of the PharmCAS application will be acknowledged via email. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all materials are received by the deadline. Complete applications will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee and selected applicants will be invited for an interview. On-site interviews are a required component of the admissions selection process. Interview candidates are notified of their application status approximately one week after the interview.
