The PharmD program at the University of Michigan uses the Pharmacy College Application Service (PharmCAS), a centralized application service for applicants applying to colleges and schools of pharmacy.

Applications for the Fall 2023 term will be available July 2022 through PharmCas.

Materials to be submitted directly to PharmCAS include all official transcripts and two letters of recommendation. We no longer require the PCAT for the current and future admissions cycles. However, there are instances where we would strongly encourage you to take the PCAT, and you can learn more about that in our Application Overview.

Receipt of the PharmCAS application will be acknowledged via email. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all materials are received by the deadline. Complete applications will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee and selected applicants will be invited for an interview. Interviews are a required component of the admissions selection process. Interview candidates are notified of their application status approximately two weeks after the interview.
