My 23 plus career at the University in various financial rolls started at the Institute of Continuing Legal Education in January of 1999.  From there I spent more than 4 years in Medical School Administration, working in the Deans office on various finanial and capital projects.  I left there to go part time to spend more time with my children, spending almost 10 years in Allergy and Immunology.  I worked for various Internal Medicine departments in addition to my regular appointment during that time and went back to full time about 5 years ago. I also worked in the Health Management Research Center for 3 years where I helped to decommision the center before the new Dean in Kinesology started in 2016.  My last Internal Medicine position, in Hematology Oncology, the largest Internal Medicine Division, I helped streamline many processes and took on many new roles for my position before leaving pre/post award research administration to come to the College of Pharmacy.

Overall Role

Assist with the functions of financial reporting, monitoring, budgeting, and internal controls processes.
