Professor Bruce Muller co-authors Drug Prescribing in Renal Failure, 5th Edition

Bruce A. Mueller, PharmD, chair and professor, Department of Clinical, Social, and Administrative Sciences, and assistant director of pharmacy services at UMMC, is the co-author of Drug Prescribing in Renal Failure, 5th edition, a just-published pocket guide to drug-dosing for patients with impaired renal function. This edition provides dosage information for more than 450 drugs plus brand-new guidance on pediatric dosing. Mueller’s fellow authors include Deborah A. Pasko, PharmD, PostDoc’01, a clinical pharmacist at U-M Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy Services and adjunct clinical assistant professor of pharmacy; and William E. Smoyer, MD, Robert C. Kelsch Collegiate Professor of Pediatric Nephrology and associate professor of pediatrics and communicable diseases at U-M Medical School, and associate professor of pharmacy at the College of Pharmacy.
